Identity and Access Management Initiative
The Identity and Access Management (IAM) initiative addresses the need for a cohesive and comprehensive identity and access management strategy for Penn State University. The IAM group is comprised of 30 individuals who span many administrative areas at the University.The IAM group's primary goal is to create an identity and access management Roadmap for Penn State by establishing a community of people and of organizations from across the University; individuals who understand each other's pressures, needs, and desires in maintaining and in developing an identity and access management infrastructures to facilitate academic, business and collaborative processes. The recommendations and Roadmap was delivered to the Vice Provost for Information Technology in the first quarter, 2008. Please check the IAM Web site to access the recommendations and Roadmap. Imagine if - software licensing
Imaginiff is one of my family's favorite games to play. I like it because no matter who wins, I can always claim I win. Imagine if you could write the contract - or rewrite existing contracts - for software that we use. What would you insist upon in terms of integration with existing systems? adherence to standards? terms of use? termination conditions?
